National Junior Honor Society
What:
It is the nation's premier organization recognizing outstanding middle school students. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship.
Why:
NJHS membership is an outstanding opportunity to develop the habits and standards
so important to success in high school, college, and a career. Think of it as making yourself #futuready.
How:
Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher will be invited to apply. You will complete an application including your leadership experience, volunteer or service experience, and other activities you are involved with. The five person Faculty Council (teachers) will review the applications and vote on the students who meet the criteria for demonstrating scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship.
